It may be just me, but it seems it is getting quieter over time. At first, I thought the loud timer was obnoxious, especially since it beeps for a long time on its own before shutting off. But, now I'm thinking quiet is worse. I've done workouts with background music and can't even hear the finishing time now. I'll change the batteries again to see if it makes a difference. It was great while it lasted.
