And to help you get from point A to B, Eagle Creek added HC2 oversized off-road wheels for a smooth ride over varied terrain, along with an ergonomic, retractable handle system. You can also carry the bag via the top, center, and bottom handles.

The Hovercraft 22 includes a sizable main compartment and oversized off-road wheels.

Other details include a convenient laundry chute that's accessible from the exterior; two-way lockable zippers on the main compartments; interior and exterior compression straps; and a front slip-away luggage tag and color accents throughout to help identify your bag. This bag appears really well made, has large wheels, and a lifetime, no excuses warranty. The handle works smoothly, and the bag has storage pockets galore.

It's really more of a suitecase than a duffle. It has some nice storage pockets, and the cover flips completely over, out of the way when unzipped.

It looks like a duffel, and is way cute, but functionally it's an oddly designed suitcase. The straps are sewn to the top, so the only part that will compress is the side of the bag. OK so far, but the sides of the bag are stiff where the lower straps are located, so they don't compress. Those straps are just there for decoration. The buckles are big and located awkwardly at the corners, so they stick out. The duffle handle in the middle of the bag is not particularly functional either, except perhaps for hoisting it off the luggage carousel. A conventional side handle would be more useful. Other than that, it's well made, as you'd expect from Eagle Creek. I'm sending this back for a 22 inch upright.

I have another Eagle Creek bag that is at least 20 years old. It has been on many sailing trips, camping trips and travels around the world and just keeps going. I decided I wanted a bag with wheels, so got this one. It is just as high quality as my older bag. The wheels are very solid and stable - even when on rough surfaces. Love this duffel! With the packing cubes, it is amazing what you can fit in such a small bag.
