This was the first case like this I'd purchased. The quality of the item was very good. It's solidly built with a nice finish. Packaging was excellent. I'd be surprised if they are very often damaged during shipping. Installing the jersey in the case was really easy - much easier than I thought it would be. You're supplied with an acrylic rod that acts as a hanger. Put the rod in the shoulders and hang on the hook riveted into the case. Done. You can mess around a bit folding or laying out the sleeves if you want, but it's optional. Put a couple nails in the wall to hang it up and you're done. I would recommend this product and, in fact, bought another one myself to give my son as housewarming present for his new apartment.

I bought this item to showcase immigration documentation from my husband's family. I used the "hook" that is meant to hold a football jersey to hang the beautiful folder from Ellis Island. Because this frame can be opened, our family and friends can view all of the documents inside, as well as unhook the folder, and see the embossing from Ellis Island. It was a gift to my husband, who described it as a "beautiful piece of furniture." It is very well made, and was extremely well packaged for shipping.
